भारताचा युवा क्रिकेटपटू पृथ्वी शॉने 8 महिन्यांच्या बंदीनंतर क्रिकेटमध्ये रविवारी पुनरागमन केले आहे. त्याने सय्यद मुश्ताक अली टी20 ट्रॉफीमधून मुंबई विरुद्ध आसाम सामन्यात अर्धशतकी खेळी करत धडाकेबाज पुनरागमन केले.
त्याने या सामन्यात 39 चेंडूत 63 धावांची खेळी केली. या खेळीत त्याने 7 चौकार आणि 2 षटकार मारले. त्याने ज्यावेळी त्याचे अर्धशतक पूर्ण केले त्यावेळी सेलिब्रेशन करताना त्याने बॅट उंचावली आणि माझी बॅट बोलते असे इशारा प्रेक्षकांकडे पाहून केला.
याचा व्हिडिओ बीसीसीआयने ट्विटरवर शेअर केला आहे. मात्र काही चाहत्यांनी शॉच्या या सेलिब्रेशनवर टीका केली आहे. पण त्याचबरोबर काही चाहत्यांनी त्याचे कौतुकही केले आहे.

शॉवर बीसीसीआयने डोपिंग नियमांचे उल्लंघन केल्याप्रकरणी 8 महिन्यांची बंदी घातली होती. त्याला बीसीसीआयच्या प्रसिद्धीपत्रकात म्हटल्याप्रमाणे अनवधानाने प्रतिबंधित पदार्थ घेतल्याने या बंदीला सामोरे जावे लागले होते. त्याची ही 8 महिन्यांच्या बंदीचा कालावधी 15 नोव्हेंबरला संपला.
त्यानंतर त्याने पहिल्यांदाच रविवारी स्पर्धात्मक सामना खेळला आहे.
या सामन्यात शॉ व्यतिरिक्त मुंबईकडून आदित्य तारेने 48 चेंडूत 82 धावांची खेळी केली. त्यामुळे मुंबईने शॉ आणि आदित्यच्या अर्धशतकी खेळीच्या जोरावर प्रथम फलंदाजी करताना 20 षटकात 206 धावा केल्या आणि आसामला 207 धावांचे आव्हान दिले. या आव्हानाचा पाठलाग करताना आसामला 20 षटकात 8 बाद 123 धावाच करता आल्या.
