आयपीएल२०२० मध्ये रविवारचा(१८ ऑक्टोबर) दिवस सुपर ओव्हरने गाजवला. रविवारी झालेल्या दोन्ही सामन्यांत मिळून ३ सुपर ओव्हर पाहायला मिळाल्या. रविवारी खेळण्यात आलेला पहिला सामना हा सनरायझर्स हैदराबाद विरुद्ध कोलकाता नाईट रायडर्स संघात झाला. हा सामना कोलकाताने सुपर ओव्हरमध्ये जिंकला.
तर दुसरा सामना मुंबई इंडियन्स विरुद्ध किंग्स इलेव्हन पंजाब संघात झाला. या सामन्यात २ सुपर ओव्हर झाल्या. सामना बरोबरीत सुटल्याने पहिली सुपर ओव्हर झाली. परंतु पहिली सुपर ओव्हरही बरोबरीत सुटल्याने दुसरी सुपर ओव्हर घेण्यात आली. दुसऱ्या सुपर ओव्हरमध्ये पंजाबने बाजी मारली आणि सामना खिशात घातला.
त्यामुळे रविवारी झालेल्या या दोन्ही सामन्यांची बरीच चर्चा झाली. चर्चेसाठी या सामन्यांदरम्यान अनेक घटनाही तशाच घडल्या. पंजाबचा मयंक अगरवालने केलेले अफलातून क्षेत्ररक्षण, जसप्रीत बुमराह, मोहम्मद शमी, लॉकी फर्ग्युसनने सुपर ओव्हरमध्ये केलेली शानदार गोलंदाजी, मॅक्सवेलचे अपयश आणि अर्थातच सुपर ओव्हर आशा अनेक गोष्टींवर प्रतिक्रिया उमटल्या. अनेक आजी-माजी खेळाडूंनीही ट्विट्स करत या सामन्यांबद्दल प्रतिक्रिया दिल्या आहेत. यातील काही निवडक प्रतिक्रिया पाहू.
