सुप्रसिद्ध भारतीय गायक केके अर्थातच कृष्णकुमार कुन्नथ याचे मंगळवारी (३१ मे) वयाच्या ५३व्या वर्षी हृद्यविकाराच्या तीव्र झटक्याने कोलकाता येथे निधन झाले. ते कोलकाताच्या नररूलमधील ऑडेटोरियमनध्ये लाईव्ह कॉन्सर्ट देत होते.
कार्यक्रमादरम्यान केकेला हृद्यविकाराचा झटका आल्याने त्याला कोलकाताच्या मेडिकल रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूटमध्ये दाखल केले गेले. तेथे त्याला मृत घोषित करण्यात आले. त्याच्या अचानक जाण्याने क्रिडाविश्वातही हळहळ व्यक्त केली जात आहे. विरेंद्र सेहवाग, विराट कोहली, प्रग्यान ओझा, व्हीव्ही एस लक्ष्मण, हर्षा भोगले, रॉबिन उथप्पा आदींनी ट्विटरमार्फत त्याला श्रद्धांजली अर्पण केली आहे.

केके दोन दिवसांसाठी कोलकाता येथे आला होता. त्याने सोमवारी कॉन्संर्ट केल्यावर विवेकानंद कॉलेजमध्ये कार्यक्रम सादर केला. नंतर मंगळवारी केलेल्या लाईव्ह कॉन्संर्टमध्ये त्याला मृत्यू आला. यावेळेचा त्याचा व्हि़डीओ चांगलाच व्हायरल होत आहे.
